High-Protein Chocolate Crackles

A healthier take on a classic Australian party treat: soy crisps add the protein, and maple syrup and cacao replace the sugar and copha.

Ingredients
- puffed rice — 1 cup20 g
- soy crisps — 1 cup30 g
- coconut oil — 4 tbsp80 ml
- maple syrup — 7 tbsp; to taste140 ml
- cacao powder — 4 tbsp32 g
Method
- Add the puffed rice and soy crisps to a bowl.
- Melt the coconut oil with the maple syrup, then stir in the cacao.
- Pour over the puffed rice and soy crisps and mix everything together.
- Spoon into moulds or patty cases and freeze for 45 minutes to set.
